IN MEMORY OF GRACEIA (BARBARA REDMOND)

Barbara Redmon, known to many of us in Medicine Park as Graceai, passed away on night August 8th. She was born in Delaware. Her two children are a son Aaron and a daughter Laura. She also has two grandchildren she adored, Jessica and Shawn. Her husband Bill (deceased) and Graceia lived in several places in OK but found a true home in Medicine Park. They were founding members of the local SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) Graciae was the founding baroness. Bill's love for her was so enormous that it filled her heart and spilled over to her love for others. She loved with all that she was. She was the only true friend I've ever had. ~ Karen Elsworth

Gracaie was special to us all. She was a beautiful lady. The MedicineShow and "Perils in the Park" will not be the same without her. Even though we will not be able to be fill her shoes, she would want us all to
carry on entertaining all the visitors that come to the park. I am quite sure she will be watching us! She loved to sing and was very good at it! I know that my daughters, Natalie and Heather, will miss her at Karioke
on Friday nights at Les and Dora's. We all loved and adored her. She was always happy and could put a smile on anyone's face! I feel very blessed to have known her for the last few years. Madame Seesall, Idona Donada, Gracaie-------------we will miss you! ~ Linda Morefield

"The smile, she had that "grab you by the heart" smile. I just loved playing Floyd in "Perils" who fell in love with her character, Idona Dunada.
She nailed that part and was probably "the" enduring character most loved by audiences. That eye thing she did with the fingers - it always made us laugh, don't care how many times you saw it. Gracaie brought joy to many, many people. Thankfully, she touched my life." ~ Lee Hibbetts

When we heard of the passing of our friend Gracaie. I feel so sad for her children and grandchildren and her numerous close friends. We will miss her "spark" in the Park, her laughter her zest for living. She shared so many gifts with us all. Her acting ability was superb, she developed memorable characters like Idona and Madame Seesall that brought joy to so many people. There are so many ways we are going to miss her ...but then you know too, don't you. ~Muriel & Michael Fahrion
